Twitter in the Shitter?

A few weeks ago, Twitter.com had a period of scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
After staying offline longer than they said that they would, once they came back online, I didn't notice a since improvement in speed or service.

Today, Twitter.com dropped off the face of the internet, unannounced.

Will they be back online?
Probably

Will it still suck?
Probably.

Will we continue to use it?
Yes

Maybe you can find out who their investors were and tap into their funds. Apparently, they are more than willing to throw money down the drain on twitter so they must have tons to go around. With you they actually have a great chance to see a great product!

I love twitter but seriously, they need to get it together ASAP.

We will all continue to use twitter until something else comes out that is equal is usability and superior in service. And allows you to bring or invite all you current twitter followers over.

Maybe we can work this thought out over at dev house.
